Mangwanani African Spa

We had the most amazing day at Mangwanani Spa with 6 treatments consisting out of a full body scrub, full body massage, head, neck & shoulder massage, hand massage, foot massage and a facial. Every body part was rubbed, at least twice!

Bring your swimming costume as they have 4 jacuzzi and a swimming pool that you get to enjoy as well.  They have a shuttle that picks you up from Canal Walk and then returns you in the evening.

Breakfast and lunch are included and you would expect it to be healthy fare but bland. And guess what? You couldn't be more wrong! Breakfast was a granola and yoghurt parfait (really good), a mini muffin and a mini scone (both freshly baked) with butter, cheese and jam. The mini scone was soooo good I wish I had more! And a fruit skewer.

For lunch I had a warm chicken wrap in a creamy white sauce, a huge salad and health bread. T had a beautiful fish fillet, mini potatoes and a side salad. The big bowl is the BEST thick, mustard and honey salad dressing!

But I say wait! You need to hold out a little bit because there is dessert and oh my what a dessert spread it was! There was fruit salad and ice cream but I would ignore that in favour of the cakes. Four beautiful cakes, just calling your name: Tiramisu, Lemon, Fudge and Chocolate and Nut Cakes! And they were delicious!

But be warned... you will struggle to stay awake after lunch. I loved every moment of it but next time I would suggest doing a half day instead. They also do night spa each with 3 treatments.

I would suggest you also go past their shop: all their products that they use are available to buy and their products are amazing. Cellphone reception is terrible there which means that the credit card machine doesn't always work. Their products aren't expensive so take enough cash.
