As always the composition of the toddler lucnhes are protein + vegetables + fruit + dairy. Sometimes I add an element of carbs but not as a standard addition. This lunch has crumbed chicken breast cut into strips, carrots and sugar-snap peas, Rosa tomatoes, grapes, cherries and strawberries. I added Laughing Cow cheese dippers with pretzel sticks and replaced the normal yoghurt with pink milk drink.
The next day we have some more chicken breast ( I cooked a whole bunch for the week instead of the usual nuggets), cut up into strips. Added half a banana, raspberries, grapes, baby corn and sugar-snap peas. I also added yoghurt and a pretzel mix.
Quick and easy.
