Biker's 40th - Beer and Burgers

For the Hungry Hubby's 40th, I decided to go big or go home. He usually just wants do do something small so I had no choice! He restored an antique BMW motor bike that looked just like the one his dad gave him in his teens so I used that as the theme. 

The amazing looking cake was made by the amazing ladies at Cupcake Tarts and the decor, as always, were done by the ladies at Bubbly & Squeak. They always do such an amazing job that if you ever want to go for a party that really impresses, please use them.

For the drinks I got a selection of small brewery beers and ciders, as well as the usual, so the guys could try something different as well. We took pictures of the ones we like (because after the party your memory is usually not that great!).

For entertainment we hired a photo booth  from iCandi as it was so much fun at my Mom's 60th  and I love having these candid photos as a memory of the night. We also played beer-pong as you can't have a burgers and beer night without it!

We braai's (BBQ) our own burger patties as South African guys love to stand around a fire, (another reason burgers were just obvious) while still being low maintenance as each person can build their burgers as they like.

 So because these big boys are home made, they were juicy and big!
