Chef's Table at the Mount Nelson Hotel
What an amazing night. It was our 6th wedding anniversary and we just had to return to the scene of the crime: The Mount Nelson Hotel (also known as the pink lady).
But First! as is custom we had a drink at the Planet Bar. They make great cocktails (just ask for Ricardo!). You tell him what you feel like and he either suggest from the menu or make one custom just for you.
We decided to do the Chef's Table again as we had so much fun with Chef Dion the last time. And who was to look after our needs this time? Chef Dion again! We had so much food that was so amazing. No pigeon this time, which was a shame as it turned out being great, but I did walk away with THE BEST pickled fish recipe so generously provided by Chef Dion.
Here is a look at the special menu for that night's chef's table. We were the only two guest there until 9pm and enjoyed it so much. Just one piece of advise: leave room for dessert! To see a dish-by-dish review, head over to my Instagram for all the info.
We always have such a great time. I do however think we need to stay over again one night and have the amazing breakfast in room! They bring a little table and set up a little dining room. And I love filling in the breakfast card. So many happy memories....
