Hungry Hubby's Birthday Breakfast

Last night for Hubby's birthday we visited a new restaurant in Sea Point called La Mouette (of which I will post more later) with friends and this morning we continue our birthday-weekend celebration. Though Hubby cheats as his birthday always precedes a public holiday so his birthday- weekend starts on a Thursday and ends the Sunday. 

So here is what was on the menu:

Scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, fluffy flapjacks with butter and maple syrup, fruit salad, fresh Clementine juice and since it is a birthday breakfast there is hidden centre mint chocolate cupcakes. Of course I cheated and got the flapjacks and cupcakes from Woolworth's but Hubby doesn't know that and enjoyed them just the same.

Obviously this was intended to spoil Hubby but isn't it nice when you get spoiled as well? Obviously he couldn't finish all the food by himself...Hubby even got a birthday kiss from Skye
